Satisfy your craving for red meat at Quebracho you won’t be disappointed trust me. The baby beef Argentina was smoky juicy on the inside and crusty on the outside just like I prefer it “perfect “. A moderate wine list is at hand as well. The staff has no idea what a great wine supposed to be. And the Cabernet Sauvignon was a little over chilled. I could also recommend the ribs they were tender and smoky.
Surprisingly delicious fresh catch of the day and I mean fresh. This little place is known to locals for delicious filets of sea bass and other kinds of local fish. The chef combines them with regional vegetables herbs and spices. I ordered mine with mashed squash and it was a home run. Staff is a little behind the eight ball but the food is worth the mild aggravation. I’ll be back for more.
After a great ceviche and octopus appetizers I already knew that this was a jackpot of a restaurant. The staff looked highly professional making us feel right at home. Presentation and flavor where at a max. The semi dry cazuela was overloaded with seafood delights and to make it surf and turf we also got a outstanding Posta risotto. Every dish was cooked to perfection. Complements to the chef. A must return
If you enjoy octopus carpaccio this is the place to go to. I’ve never had such a generous portion of octopus in any restaurant and it melts on your tongue. And after a glass of great Chardonnay I was ready for the steamed catch of the day. The chef did a great job in not over cooking it and the staff brought it to my table in a jiffy. That alone is a valid reason to return.
The mixed ceviche is outstanding it has a million different flavors but who says that you can only get one appetizer? So I had to have the chuppe that sounds so Chilean and it was great waiting for the grilled mero on coconut risotto I enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine and there it was! One bad boy of a filet you could eat it with a straw; so tender even off the grill. I’ll be back soon.
Now this is a great place to have a wonderful dinner for two. A generous portion of great grilled octopus and fish carpaccio were our first choice appetizers and let me tell you nothing to sneeze at. After that we had osobucco, lamb chops and a soft shrimp rice. Fantastic is all what I can say. The friendly staff was always pleasant and helpful even with the wine. Chardonnay was our choice. A wonderful place to visit once a week.
Taking a break from local cuisine I ventured into this little Spanish restaurant. Barely in the door It already smelled like Cataluña. After typical appetizers I went right away to the solomillo in red wine sauce and it was marvelously prepared I can only recommend this dish the wine was a casa Torres Reserva red, delicious. I don’t care much about deserts but had to have the crema catalana. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone that likes traditional Iberian food.
Not surprised to find an other hole in the wall in the old city. After having a mixed ceviche Peruvian style that was no more than average. I couldn’t help but notice that they also had a sesame crust tuna steak and I had to have it, it was ever so delicious together with the calamari flavored risotto with a wonderful touch of Andes herbs and spices my taste buds were having a party and so had I. The place is tiny the staff slow but we didn’t really care for the rest. Must return
