Cocina de autor que representa una orgullosa joya local, y que va liderando el camino gastronómico Caleño. La carta es como debería ser: corta, variada, creativa, y constantemente revisitada. El jefe, Ricardo, es un cocinero ambicioso, aventurero y que lleva su experiencia internacional a ingredientes únicamente Colombianos. Y el resultado es una variedad y combinación de sabores que me sorprendieron....y me encantaron! Ya he estado dos veces en los 2 días desde mi llegada. Esta noche voy a probar el "tasting menu". On every visit to Cali I stop off for lunch at Los Turcos. Whilst the food is not amazing, it is flavoursome, generous, "solid and consistent" and there is a nice timeless feel to the place. The waiters too are happy to have you back and are charming. They also offer a delicious flat bread and humus while you wait for your main course or starter. A good place for a weekday lunch. I haven't dined there yet but I imagine that their live music and dancing is worth seeing!

After visiting Cali on several occasions prior, I finally had the chance to visit Platillos which is well known to visitors in Cali. It has a very pretty setting and the terrace is surrounded by plants and trees. Staff are professional and courteous, and the dishes are creative and well put together - a nice array of dishes combining various gastronomic cultures including italian and creole combinations, ceviche, and pacific specialities. It is one of the more expensive options in Cali but worth a treat every now and then for an important business lunch/ dinner, or indeed a romantic occasion too. Not spectacular, but certainly highly recommended.

Un lugar como pocos otros en Cali. Un ambiente lleno de poesia y arte que llama mucho la atención. La comida es igualmente creativa y los platos son lejos de ser tradicionales colombianos. Servicio simpatico y profesional y unos de los mejores restaurantes de Cali. Perfecto para una cena romantica o una ocasión especial. Vale la pena probabarlo.
