This is a carnivore-themed restaurant located on the second floor of a retail building with an upscale Italian restaurant on the first floor. The meat is the star, whether its beef, pork, poultry or fish--usually salmon. The restaurant, like their affiliated neighbor downstairs has an ample bar specializing in gin. Service is great, with a friendly, attentive staff. The restaurant is full service, with a great view overlooking a lovely Laureles thoroughfare. The staff is multilingual and there are usually servers who speak English, if necessary. One disappointment was the ribs. They seemed to have been prepared using the (awful) parboil method, and not slow-smoked. The menu claims it's slow smoked but something isn't right, maybe the temperature is too high, but it's not right and the rib meat is tough. That usually happens when the temperature got too high at some point. It is extremely difficult to find good barbecue ribs in Colombia as slow smoking is not a common technique. Prices are surprisingly affordable for the ambiance and level of service. I have been twice so far, and will certainly return.
