For lunch in Cartagena (Getsemani) on our last day in Colombia, my wife and I decided to have ceviche at El Gramo. We ordered the standard combo, and ate it for lunch. We found the combination of fish, shrimp, and other seafoods to be very fresh. It is definitely a place for a quick bite. After we had our lunch, we returned to our hotel around the corner where our ride to the airport was waiting.

Went to San Valentin with my wife on the first day for lunch. We were hungry during our recent Colombian trip, and were wandering around the old quarter of Cartagena. The food here was good. It was the typical Cartagena Colombian. I ordered some fried fish, patacones, and coconut rice. My wife ordered some baked chicken, patacones, and coconut rice. It was good for lunch. It is not a fancy place. It was the kind of place to go for a decent lunch in the old part of Cartagena.

My wife and I went to La Cevicherria for dinner during our recent trip to Colombia. The place was good. We had the standard ceviche, plus some Vietnamese rice with seafood. It is a very international flair restaurant. It tends to overshadow all of the other restaurants in the area because it was patronized by Anthony Bourdain. I would recommend this place, but do not discount the others in the neighborhood that serve similar fare.

My wife and I went to El Boliche about two weeks ago. We ordered the following: The Ceviche with Tamarind The Ceviche Cartagena style The Octopus and Eggplant All were very good. We had a quiet intimate dinner for the two of us. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who is in the San Diego district of the old section of Cartagena. It is worth the walk to this place.
