We booked for dinner during Bogotá Restaurant Week and were the only diners on the night. The emptiness of the restaurant was depressing. We ordered from the set menu. For starters, we ordered the ceviche and were served a lukewarm shrimp cocktail, with rubbery, defrosted crab sticks. The other starter was the trio of terrines which was dry, and bland. For mains we were served an overdone salmon steak which was again rubbery and dry. It was so bad that we had to send it back. The other main we ordered was a sirloin steak and they gave us a complimentary second steak to replace the fish. The steak was prepared well, but then let down by being drowned in a very tasteless sauce. The vegetable side accompanying the steak was warmed up mixed frozen vegetables that you can get from a supermarket. Dessert was slightly better, but only marginally, and by this point we had had enough and just wanted to leave.
